The Coast to Coast Ride is a large scale fundraiser to promote Hearts Up Ranch. All charitable contributions, sponsorships, and pledges go directly to Hearts Up Ranch. The goal of the ride is to begin raising the funds needed to start the ranch as well as create an endowment. This is to keep costs low for the guests who come for ministry, as well as minimize the time and resources needed for yearly fundraising. Thus it will allow the staff to be fully devoted to the mission of emotional healing. Essentially, the majority of the fundraising for years to come is being done up front.
Stats
The Coast to Coast Ride fundraising goal is to raise 2 million to pay two employees off the interest to work full time to raise the additional finances required to open Hearts Up Ranch. Careful consideration, research, and professional finacial advice determined our fundraising goal. It is estimated that the population of the United States is about 304 million people. If the average donation is $50.00, it will only take .02% of Americans to raise the funds necessary to start and operate the ranch. The goal could also be reached even if 1 in 10 people donated only one dollar! (The total goal is 30 million.) The bottom line is that no donation is insignificant.
