Wow- the Ozarks have been woopin’ on us! Boy do we have some stories to tell! Since the last set of blogs I wrote, we got lost two days in a row, stumbled upon a women’s conference at a church that I had the privilege of attending, and have had several more fun stories to share. But alas, part of being in the Ozarks has been a complete lack of cell reception and computer access. Tonight is the first in over a week. Regrettably, I don’t have time tonight to do my normal blogs, but a quick update will have to suffice.
We have 3-4 more riding days to get to Cape Girardeau. There we will take a couple days to prepare for the media attention and logistics of crossing the bridge over the Mississippi River. Let me say it again….
We are about to cross the Mississippi!!!!
(We’re not excited or anything! Just kidding – OF COURSE WE ARE!)
Please watch facebook closely, as well as another real time blog to let you know the exact day and rough time that this event will take place. If you are local, please join us on the bridge. If not, please pray for our safety and cheer loudly from your livingroom for us as we officially enter the home stretch of this ride across America!
